Mr. Turner (3 1/2 Stars) - An exploration of the last quarter century of the great, if eccentric, British painter J.M.W. Turner's life.

Hot Tub Time Machine 2 (1 Star) - When Lou finds himself in trouble, Nick and Jacob fire up the hot tub time machine in an attempt to get back to the past. But they inadvertently land in the future with Adam Jr. Now they have to alter the future in order to save the past - which is really the present.

DVD Pick Of The Week

Drive Hard (3 Stars) -
A former race car driver is abducted by a mysterious thief and forced to be the wheel-man for a crime that puts them both in the sights of the cops and the mob.

Birdman (3 1/2 Stars) - A washed up actor, who once played an iconic superhero, battles his ego and attempts to recover his family, his career and himself in the days leading up to the opening of a Broadway play.

Project Almanac (2 1/2 Stars) - A group of teens discover secret plans of a time machine, and construct one. However, things start to get out of control.

Match (1 1/2 Stars) - As a Juilliard professor is interviewed by a woman and her husband for her dissertation on the history of dance in 1960's New York, it becomes increasingly clear that there are ulterior motives to the couple's visit.

The gritty adaption of William Shakespeare's play about the English King's bloody conquest of France.

On Golden Pond (4 Stars) -
The loons are back again on Golden Pond and so are Norman Thayer, a retired professor, and Ethel who have had a summer cottage there since early in their marriage. This summer their daughter Chelsea -- whom they haven't seen for years -- feels she must be there for Norman's birthday.
