DCLGBTPF Pride Celebration

We at DCLGBTPF are proud to announce OUR TIME has come for OUR 1st Pride Celebration, We will be holding it at the Davidson County Fairgrounds on 5/16/15 from 10:00am-6:00pm, But our festivities will begin on 5/15/15 at our Home Base Location on Zimmerman rd. Lexington NC, With our Camp-Out Tail-Gating Gathering which will last until 5/17/15. Our after Party will also be at Our home base location.
Our Objective & Goal Is Simple: "To Do Good & Be Good" We based this Pride Event on giving back to OUR Community as a Whole, We chose 2 Charities "Pastor's Pantry, N. State St Lexington with Our "Fill The Truck Campaign" & Positive Wellness Alliance, E Center St Lexington NC" & We chose 1 Family in OUR Community to help!
Dakota Rain has organized all of Our Entertainment and Speakers with 24 performances,  2 local Bands, 2 Guest Speakers & Wedding. Most definately a "Do Not Want To Miss Event!"
We originally started planning on having this event in an Open Field on Zimmerman Rd, The more we got into it the more we grew, until we made it to the fairgrounds which is actually a year before we thought we would. So I can say without a doubt the Community has stepped up to make this a year to remember.
Everything has been made possible through hard work & determination of OUR Founders & Committee: Lori Polston, Dakota Rain & Ann Huffman "Founders"  DJ Huffman, Liz Yarro, Jamie Nelms, Greg Hege, & Derrick Lambeth "Committee".
We invite everyone to check out our Group Page On FaceBook "LGBT Pride May 16th 2015 Davidson County" or to feel free to email us at davidsoncountylgbtpride@gmail.com , Or send any of the Committee a message on Facebook.

NGHS Senior Gift Stop Hunger Now

Stop Hunger Now is an organization that is devoted to stopping hunger throughout the world. For every $3,000.00 that we raise, we can pack 10,000 nutritious meals that will be donated to hungry people here in the United States and throughout the world. We have already raised $3,000.00 but we would like to raise enough money to sponsor an additional 10,000 meals. In May, students at Northern Guilford High School will be packaging meals and packing them for shipment. We hope that you can help us make our goal come true. If you have any questions, please contact our teacher Robin Farber at 336 543 4015 or at farberr@gcsnc.com . You may donate to our event by sending a check made out to NGHS, Stop Hunger Now, Northern Guilford High School, 7101 Spencer Dixon Road, Greensboro, NC 27455. We have made a YouTube video that expresses our goals and aspirations for this project.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uGFbhJoWVFU Thank You! Northern Guilford High School Senior Class
