A leading radio station group in the Piedmont Triad area is seeking to employ a qualified and experienced Business Manager/Bookkeeper for its Greensboro operations.
Key areas of responsibility are:
Prepare monthly financial statements for DBC and all intra company accounts
Weekly & Monthly postings: Journal entries, receivables, bank reconciliations for all companies
Handle all accounts receivable and payables through Sage.
Handle all payroll (salary & hourly) functions for submission to ADP, including commission reports.
Set up new hires in payroll, E-verify, with insurance carriers and in 401K.
Prepare sales commission reports
Be the company liaison and administrator to insurance carrier & 401K provider
Handle 401 (K) contributions and related reports.
Review & maintain annual health, dental, vision, eye, disability and life insurance coverage, and answer any employee questions pertaining to coverage.
Handle all other business insurance products including company vehicles.
Review and handle all service contracts.
Prepare annual budgets.
Review and handle annual taxes and FCC filings
Complete property tax forms
Assist outside CPA with year-end review and tax filings.
Track special event expenses, income and payroll
Perform other duties as assigned from time to time by Management.
Minimum of 5 (five) years accounting or bookkeeping experience, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger and monthly financial statements. Experience with HR duties a must, such as insurance and 401K. Must be proficient in Sage, Excel and ADP payroll applications. Industry experience is a plus.
Must have ability to communicate clearly and concisely with co-workers and Management.
