A locally owned and operated company in Greensboro, NC is seeking an experienced Web developer/designer and SEO specialist. The role is responsible for designing, coding and modifying websites, from layout to function according to clients’ specifications. Individual must strive to create visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation. The ideal candidate must possess extensive knowledge of HTML, CSS, Client-Side Scripting and Server-Side Scripting (JavaScript and Java are preferred). Experience using a Content Management System such as WordPress is also required. This role will also be responsible for the ongoing SEO of each site, and may need to provide SEO for pre-existing sites as well.

The ideal candidate for this position must also have experience with Database Administration, MySQL preferred. Experience with Web Server Administration is also preferred. As this position may require working on multiple projects at the same time, Project Management experience is strongly preferred. Experience with paid digital marketing campaigns is a plus.
Must provide portfolio of prior work.

DBC Digital Solutions Display Analysts are responsible for the planning, implementation and optimization of online display and video media campaigns for clients. This includes technical details as well as data analysis. Display Analysts are also responsible for effective collaboration with technology and media partners. DBC Digital Solutions Display Analyst will work with DBC Digital Team to ensure optimal delivery of display advertising services. Analysts must reflect DBC Digital’s approach to Data-Driven Marketing.
 
To succeed in this position, candidates need excellent communication, quantitative and computer skills. Must possess the ability to juggle multiple tasks at one time and meet deadlines. Candidates should be excited about the merger of advertising and technology and should be eager to continually expand their knowledge. This position reports to the Director of Digital Operations.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
 
Deliver full scope online media execution - planning, configuration, measurement, optimization and reporting.
Manage relations with technology and media partners.
Organize and share knowledge of online media landscape with team members.
Provide comprehensive support and communication to clients.
Prioritize multiple deadlines.
Assist Account Executives with sales process by checking inventory and completing RFPs.
 
Requirements:
 
BA/ BS Degree
Comfort working with and speaking about complex technology

SEM Specialist Needed

SEM Specialist Job Overview
We are looking for an SEM expert to manage all search engine marketing activities.
You will be responsible for managing all SEM activities, developing marketing campaigns around identified keywords that relate to a client’s business in order to convert site users into consumers. You will mainly manage all SEM campaigns on Google, Yahoo and Bing in order to maximize ROI.
The ideal candidate must possess a keen understanding of online retail, ideally in the B2B space, with a strong background in pay-per-click (PPC) management. This role requires the ability to operate on both a strategic and tactical level, touching all aspects of the search marketing roadmap including keyword management, creation of campaign messaging, bidding strategies, creative testing, and analytics.
Responsibilities
  • 2+ years of SEM experience managing PPC campaigns across Google, Yahoo, and Bing.
  • Become a "product expert" in our industry, understand the hot issues and new developments, and create an associated keyword expansion roadmap, working to develop relevant ads and landing page content.
  • Manage the day-to-day search marketing activities across multiple search engines (Google, Yahoo, MSN, Bing, etc.) including the campaign planning, implementation, budget management, performance review, and optimization of paid search campaigns.
  • Execute tests, collect and analyze data, identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI in paid search campaigns
  • Track, report, and analyze website analytics and PPC initiatives and campaigns
  • Manage campaign expenses, staying on budget, estimating monthly costs and reconciling discrepancies.
  • Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine marketing
  • Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimization
  • Research and implement quality score recommendations
  • Research and analyze competitor advertising links
  • Develop and implement link building strategy
  • Analyze and increase consumer click-through rates
Requirements
  • 2+ years of SEM experience managing PPC campaigns across Google, Yahoo, and Bing.
  • Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
  • In-depth experience with website analytics tools (e.g, Google Analytics)
  • Should hold some combination of the following certifications: Google Adwords Certification, Google Analytics Certification, Yahoo Ambassador, etc.
  • Experience with bid management tools (e.g., WordStream, Marin, Kenshoo, Search Ignite)
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and SEM
  • University degree in a quantitative, test-driven field, Business, Marketing, or Advertising
  • Strong Analytical Skills
