Intern Responsibilities
Researching, writing, proofing and editing website materials
Posting, editing, maintaining website content
E-mail campaign creation and implementation
Designing, and creating web banners and graphics
Intern Qualifications:
DBC New Media Interns should have a working knowledge Photoshop, Fireworks, and Illustrator as well as an eye for design. Qualified candidates must have good writing skills and be able to properly edit and proof-read material.
All DBC Interns must be in good standing within their major. DBC Interns must be pre-approved by their advisor to receive course credit during internship period. All internships are non-paid. Part-time, paid positions may be available to some interns based on demonstrated understanding of duties and performance.
At Dick Broadcasting (WKRR 92.3 FM, WKZL 107.5 FM) we are proud to be part of the Piedmont Triad community of higher education and we encourage students to apply for internship opportunities for the upcoming summer session, that we may have here at WKRR and WKZL. If a student is interested in interning here at DBC, we would prefer that they have a concentration in the following studies: marketing, broadcasting, promotions, creative writing and business.
