The Mount Airy Pickleball Club is hosting a special Memorial Day Picklelball Tournament in memory of Jack H. Moore, Jr., Mayberry’s finest Pickleball Ambassador. Proceeds will be used to start a scholarship fund at Appalachian State University in Jack’s name.
Jack was instrumental in helping grow pickleball in the area. He completed his undergraduate and graduate degrees at Appalachian and never missed a home football game (excluding Covid year) since 1975. The tournament is being held on May 26th, Memorial Day and Jack’s Birthday.
